First next-gen exclusive Assassin's Creed demoed at Xbox E3 press conference

E3 2014: Assassin’s Creed Unity introduces four-play co-op

Ubisoft has detailed Assassin’s Creed Unity, the newest entry in the publisher’s flagship series.

Aside from the setting – 18th Century France during the French Revolution – the key new features here are four-player co-operative online play and the largest open world in the series so far.

This is thanks in no small part to the fact that this game is the first title in the series to be exclusive to the new generation of consoles.

It was announced earlier this year, and demonstrated for the first time during Xbox’s E3 2014 press conference by Ubisoft’s Vincent Pontibrand.

Ubisoft is believed to also be working on a current gen Assassin’s Creed.
