New name, Disney deal and $139 bundle announced for entertainment device

E3 2014: PlayStation TV due this Christmas

PS Vita TV will launch for $99 this Christmas, Sony has announced.

The console, previously announced for Japan, will now launch in the US and Europe. It was originally called PlayStation Vita TV, and allows for Remote Play (so you can play PS4 games in another room) and can have over 1,000 titles via PSN and PlayStation Now.

It is effectively a non-portable PS Vita.

There will also be a bundle with a memory card and a game for $139.

The firm has teamed up with Disney to offer Disney Infinity on the platform, too.
