Games publisher EA says it has seven games on Apple’s top 25 paid and top 25 free most downloaded app charts.
Apple recently announced the top 25 all-time most-downloaded paid and free apps for iPhone and iPad.
EA owns Chillingo and PopCap, meaning games like Angry Birds and Plants vs Zombies are counted. Chillingo published the first Angry Birds game, so this doesn’t count later Angry Birds titles such as Rio.
The seven games are as follows:
- Angry Birds
- Angry Birds HD
- Tetris for iPad
- Scrabble for iPad
- Monopoly for iPad
- Plants vs Zombies HD
- Cut the Rope HD
The App Store is nearing 25bn downloads. Apple is giving away a $10,000 gift card to whoever downloads the 25th billion app.
