EA officially in the running once again for Consumerist Worst Company gong

The 2014 Worst Company in America tournament is under way and EA is once again in the running.

Were it to ‘triumph’ it would be the third year in succession that the FIFA and Battlefield publisher has claimed the title.

Its rivals include Time Warner Cable, Facebook, Yahoo, Comcast, SallieMae, Citi Group, Walmart, Bank of America, American Airlines, Seaworld (as recently featured in the damning Blackfish documentary), Ticketmaster, General Motors, McDonalds, PayPal/eBay, Koch Industries (the chemical company, not the games publisher), Target and Verizon.

Voting begins today (March 19th).
