Electronic Arts shares have jumped this morning after rumours the company has been in talks with private-equity firms about a possible buyout.
It was reported yesterday that the game publisher had been in preliminary discussions with two private-equity firms, KKR and Providence Equity Partner.
EA was up $1.29 (9.9 per cent) to $14.38 this morning.
EA shares through yesterday were down approximately 37 per cent from this time last year.
In the Post, an anonymous source valued the company at $20 a share.
EA declined to comment when contacted by Develop.
