Echo Fox go big on fighting games, sign Justin Wong, Tokido and Sonic Fox

Echo Fox, the eSports organisation founded by NBA legend Rick Fox, has signed a ton of top fighting game players.

The organisation has acquired Taniguchi "Tokido" Hajime, Momochi "Momochi" Yusuke, Justin Wong and Momochi "ChocoBlanka" Yuko, who are some of the best Street Fighter V players in the world. These new players join Julio Fuentes, who was already a part of Echo Fox, to form arguably the strongest team in the scene. Expect to see more than a few Echo Fox jerseys at the Capcom Cup next year.

Echo Fox has also signed Dominique "Sonic Fox" McLean, who is arguably the best Mortal Kombat player in the world and Brad "Scar" Vaughn, who isn’t far behind him.

Rounding out the new acquisitions is Smash 4 player Leo "MKLeo" Lopez Perez, who joins Smash Melee god Jason "Mew2King" Zimmerman, who was already a part of Echo Fox, in the team’s Smash Bros department.

Echo Fox now has one of the biggest, and strongest, rosters in the fighting game world, a scene that is rapidly expanding. After failing to find success in CS:GO this seems like a very strong move to enter a scene that is in need of more top organisations.
