Entries now open for Women in Games Awards 2017

Entries are now open for Women in Games Awards 2017, with a deadline of March 10th 2017 for nominations.

This year we will once again kick off our campaign to recognise the achievements of Women in the UK Games Industry. 2017 will see us recognising the plethora of female talent in the games industry via seven individual awards.

Following an extended open lobbying period the MCV, Develop and eSports Pro editorial teams will work with a specially selected panel of distinguished industry professionals to create a shortlist and the winners for these awards.

Taking place on Friday 19th May at a central London location, the Women in Games 2017 event is set to be one of the highlights of the year. The event will be supported by Ukie as Event Partner, Twitch as Livestream Partner, and Aardvark Swift as Category Sponsor.

The categories available for entering/nominating this year are as follows:

  • New Development Talent
  • Businesswoman of the Year
  • Creative Impact
  • Career Mentor
