ESC Golf day raises over £20k

A day of hardcore golf, a little pampering, a swanky meal and the obligatory drinks at The Grove in Hertfordshire saw the games industry’s top dogs raise over 20,000 for the Entertainment Software Charity.

The likes of Rod Cousens, Chris Peacock, Ray Maguire, David Yarnton, Jonathon Grimes, Serhad Koro, Ian Curran, Gary Booker and Ian Livingstone enjoyed a day of fund raising and dubious mulligan abuse yesterday as part of the ESC’s latest charity event.

And MCV can reveal that a date for next year’s event has been confirmed – stick a date in your diary for May 14th 2009 for the next ESC Charity Golf and Spa Day.
