Astralis put an end to SK’s dominant run in PGL Major quarter finals

Defending Major champs Astralis clashed with SK Gaming’s in-form team in the quarter-finals of the PGL Major this weekend.

Although Astralis didn’t win the entire contest, falling to eventual winners Gambit in the semi-finals, it’s a shot in the arm for the Danish team who have been struggling to get big results recently, and a surprise upset for the Brazilian SK team who have spent the last month winning big tournaments across Europe, and were currently 3/3 on big tournament wins ahead of the PGL Major.

The teams played on Cache and Overpass, with the Danish team sweeping a 2-0 victory.
