Bengi and Duke leave SK Telecom T1, Faker stays put

After winning the League of Legends world championship the SK Telecom T1 team has undergone some changes, with two players and a coach moving on.

Both Lee "Duke" Ho-seong and Bae "Bengi" Seong-woong who played in the championship winning team have not resigned with the SKT organisation, and are free to explore options with other teams. One of the team’s coaches, Lee "PoohManDu" Jeong-hyeon, has also not been resigned for 2017.

SKT’s superstar player Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok has resigned with the team, as has coach Kim "kkOma" Jung-gyun. Bae "Bang" Jun-sik, Lee "Wolf" Jae-wan and Kang "Blank" Sun-gu have also remained with the team for the 2017 season.

“Bengi, Duke and ManDu – even though you have left our team, we thank you and love you very much,” said the SKT organisation in a Tweet. “You guys will not be with us next season, but we hope you do great in whatever team you go to, and let’s all try and meet again at Worlds.”
