Echo Fox forfeit ESL Pro League spot after failing to get a roster in time

Echo Fox has forfeited its spot in the North American division of the ESL Pro League after failing to submit a roster for the upcoming season.

The team disbanded its CS:GO team late last year, leaving just two players on its roster currently. Obviously without a team of five they were not able to submit a roster for the Pro League, which starts next week and were forced to give up their spot.

In order to make sure the league was not missing a team a last chance qualifier between Splyce and Selfless was played overnight, with Selfless coming out on top. This means that Selfless will be playing in the ESL Pro League North American division for Season 5.

It is currently not known when, or indeed if, Echo Fox will field a CS:GO roster, but missing out on the Pro League is a major blow for the organisation.
