Epsilon to miss Gfinity’s CWL event after admin error

Epsilon will not be competing at the Gfinity London Call of Duty World League event after the team failed to send an email.

Tournament organisers required teams that met the pro points requirements to qualify for the event, to send them roster details by midnight on January 17th. Epsilon apparently failed to do this, so did not receive an invitation and their spot at the event has been given to the 17th seeded team in the pro points ladder.

“Can’t go Gfin unless any teams drop out, anyone fancy taking the L for us yeah cheers,” said Epsilon player Stephen "Vortex" Allen. “Can’t go because I fucked up the email that had to be sent the other night, would’ve been 10th seed, nothing to do with PPs.”

This mistake could cost the team a lot. With thousands of pro points up for grabs at the event teams that do well should be guaranteed pool play spots at ESWC and MLG Atlanta. With no option of winning these points chances are Epsilon will have to play in the open bracket at both events.
