ESL has partnered with TEG Live, a major live events company operating out of Australia, to run the Intel Extreme Masters Sydney event.
The partnership will see the two companies collaborate on the CS:GO competition that is set to take place at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on May 6th and 7th, as well as potential other events.
“TEG Live has been watching the phenomenal global growth of pro gaming and waiting for the right opportunity in the Australian market,” said TEG Live managing director, Tim McGregor. “We are thrilled to have the world’s leading esports company, ESL, as a partner. The Intel Extreme Masters is an exceptional event that will set the benchmark in this entertainment genre in Australia. We expect there will be huge interest from both fans and brands that have been waiting for an event of this scale to finally be staged in Australia.”
This is of course not the first time that ESL has signed a deal with a company of this type. They have already worked with AEG extensively to produce events such as ESL One New York, and have an agreement with the company to use their venues as locations for future events.
