ESL Pro League returns for Season 5 next week

The ESL Pro League Season 5 schedule has been revealed, with the event set to kick off in just under a week.

14 teams are set to compete in the European division and another 14 will battle it out in the North American side of the competition. The top teams from each division will then come together in Dallas, Texas in early June for the LAN final.

LDLC, Luminosity and RUSH are the newcomers to the competition after securing their spots in the competition by winning the relegation tournament. Out of the four teams that played in the competition last year that were playing for survival only Heroic managed to survive.

The first round of matches kicks off on Tuesday February 7th with NaVi facing off against Astralis and NiP playing Heroic. NA then kicks off in the wee hours of February 8th with Cloud9 vs Rush and OpTic vs Echo Fox.
