eSports dominates Forbes’ gaming 30 under 30

Forbes has released its 30 under 30 list for gaming, and multiple eSports players, personalities and business owners have been included.

Team SoloMid owner Andy "Reginald" Dinh is this year’s featured honouree, with Immortals CEO Noah Whinston and and Tempo Storm owner Andrey "Reynad" Yanyuk also being included.

A few players also made the list, with CLG League of Legends player Zacqueri "Aphromoo" Black, Smash Melee player Juan "Hungrybox" Debiedma and CS:GO player Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo all being included.

Other eSports names include CS:GO caster, Auguste "Semmler" Massonnat, broadcast host Rachel Quirico and Psyonix’s eSports operation manager Josh Watson.

Of course the bulk of the list still work in the traditional games industry, however this is a significant rise in the eSports representation, as last year only Eefje "Szjokz" Depoortere was included.

Also included in the list Eric Barone, who made the excellent Stardew Valley. This has nothing to do with eSports, I just really like Stardew Valley.
