Group draw for the Call of Duty Global Pro League gives Splyce a tough task

After a surprising victory for European team Splyce at the finals of the first stage of the Call of Duty Global Pro League the group draw for the second stage has been made, and the champions have a tough draw.

Splyce have been drawn in the yellow group, alongside American teams eUnited and Rise Nation, as well as one team that makes it out of the relegation tournament. eUnited are considered one of the five best teams in the world and already have one major LAN win under their belt for this season. Rise Nation could also be considered a top 10 team in the world, making this a stacked group.

Elsewhere the green group is just as stacked, with OpTic Gaming, 2016 world champions Team EnVyUs and top European side Epsilon all drawn together. OpTic and Epsilon have both won LAN events this year, while EnVyUs will be looking to improve in time to make a solid title defence at CoD Champs.

The red group features Luminosity, Evil Geniuses and Mind Freak, while the blue group features FaZe Clan, Enigma6, and Elevate.
