OpTic Gaming become first team to win group stage undefeated at CWL Global Pro League

OpTic Gaming has cemented their Call of Duty credentials by becoming the first team to go undefeated in the CWL Global Pro League.

OpTic is the first team to have ever managed a 6-0 undefeated run in a regular season of the CWL Global Pro League. Bizarrely, their win against Enigma6 on Friday night was Enigma6’s only lose, meaning a win for Enigma6 would have seen them becoming the first team to manage the unbeaten sweep.

Alas, it was not to be, and OpTic Gaming took the winning spot, and they will now continue to the CWL Global Pro League’s season one playoffs that will run from May 25 to 28.

Eight teams will be making the journey to the playoffs, with seven of the teams being North American, with Splyce being the odd one out.

With $500,000 on the line, OpTic will no doubt hope they can keep up their winning streak all the way to victory. Enigma6, also going through to the playoffs, will no doubt be hoping to sink OpTic’s hopes.
