Panda Global signs Gears of War team

Panda Global has picked up a Gears of War team just before the big Gears of War 4 Pro Circuit London Open event this weekend.

Ben "Strangulate" Laird, Bobby "phenomxnon" Kenny, Alec "Shock" Colins and Demarco "Drix" Gainesmake up the core of the team, with Frank "ko" Tibbs being the fifth member of the team. However ko is technically on loan from NRG and not a full permanent member of the team.

"Panda Global is excited to join the Gears of War 4 scene as our first competitive shooter," said David Wu, co-founder of Panda Global when talking to theScore eSports. "Gears will always hold a special place in my heart as my first Xbox 360 game, and for its tournaments at many FGC events such as Winterbrawl. This group of players embodies the passion, grit and sacrifice it takes to make it to the top, and I’m glad to be a part of their journey through the Pro Circuit."

The Gears of War 4 Pro Circuit London Open kicks off tomorrow at the Gfinity arena in London, with the finals taking place on Sunday.
