PGL will host the next CS:GO Major in Krakow

Tournament organiser PGL has announced that it has been chosen by Valve to host the next Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major in Krakow, Poland. 

The announcement comes just four months before the main event is set to take place, with the final stages of the competition due to take place in the Tauron Arena between July 21st and 23rd. Prior to that the group stages will take place between July 16th to July 19th in order to decide who makes it to the main event. 

The Tauron Arena should be well known to eSports fans, as Riot Games used it just last year for their EU LCS finals, and it certainly looked like an impressive set up. 

Of course PGL will also be in charge of the series of Minor events and the offline qualifier that will decide which teams get to play in Krakow. The first Minor will be in Asia on June 1st with the Americas on June 8th, CIS  also on June 8th and Europe on June 15th to follow. The final qualifier will take place between June 29th and July 2nd.
