Team Infused win out at HCS London, snagging $10,000 and entry to the HGC Fall 2017 finals

The Halo Championship Series came to London this weekend to crown a new champion in the European competitive Halo scene.

Team Infused emerged victorious in the headline 4 v 4 bracket, with the team taking home $10,000 and earning an invite to go and compete at the HCS Fall 2017 finals, running from 20-22 October in Denver. They’ll be joined by Supremacy and Vexed.ebuyer, who earnt invites for their second and third place finishes, respectively.

The event was marred slightly by a terrorist incident at nearby tube station Parsons Green on Friday, closing the station shortly before the event. On Saturday the HCS was evacuated again, as Fulham Broadway where Gfinity’s esports arena is located, was cleared out due to a further threat.

Frenchman Norwen ‘SLG’ Le Galloudec of Supremacy won out in the free for all tournament, snagging $5,000 for his efforts.

Now we’re looking towards the HCS Fall 2017 finals, with many European teams hoping to qualify for the fourth and final automatic EU slot for the finals taking place on October 1.
