Team Liquid to make changes to its LoL team mid split after horrible start

Team Liquid, one of the most storied teams in League of Legends history, has had a terrible start to the 2017 season and currently sit bottom of the North American LCS.

This of course is not where the team want to be, they constantly make the playoffs and are usually a contender for Worlds. But this year things have not gone to plan, and now the organisation is looking to fix that.

In a Facebook Live AMA Team Liquid owner Steve Arhancet and League manager Michael Artress revealed that they will be holding tryouts for the every position over the next week, while the LCS is on a break, to try and find new players. Not only that they will be trying their current players in different positions, meaning no one is safe and mass changes could be on the way.

A move like this has never really happened in the middle of a split before, but with LCS franchising seemingly on the horizon dropping out of the competition would be disastrous for Liquid.
