Vainglory’s Spring Championship to be held at the O2 in London

Super Evil Megacorp has announced that it is bringing the Spring Season Championship to the O2 Arena in London.

The event will see the top six teams from Europe and the top six teams from North America compete in both regional and inter regional matches to decide who the best western team is. This will be the first time that the two regions will face off in competitive play (outside of the invitational the other month) since the world championships last year.

The action will start on May 19th and end on May 21st, with everything going down inside the O2.

As London’s official Vainglory team Fnatic will be hosting the event alongside Super Evil, making this the first event to make use of the new region based team format. It is expected that future events will take place in other partnered cities, with other teams becoming event hosts.

Further details are yet to be announced, but tickets are available now, costing £10 each. A VIP ticket is also available for £69.99 that includes a ton of extras including a Vainglory hoodie.
