Wargaming.net League Grand Finals moves to Moscow for 2017

Wargaming has revealed that its annual Wargaming.net League Grand Finals will take place in Moscow in 2017.

The event has traditionally been held in Warsaw, Poland with all three previous finals being held in the city. However after the success of the recent Wargaming Fest in Moscow, which saw over 20,000 fans buy tickets, the company has decided to move its major eSports event to the Russian city.

No official dates or location have been announced for the competition, but it usually takes place in April or May time.

The move to Russia is a risky one as it will not be as easy for players from some regions to secure a visa, whereas Poland is pretty happy to give most people a visa. However it’s a safe bet that there will be thousands of people who want to buy a ticket.
