Essential guide to UK video games creatives returns in July

MCV’s bumper-sized directory of key UK games agencies and services returns in July.

Now called Game Source, it will be published as a book with a print-run of 25,000 and available as a free digital book on iPad and in-browser, it will also be distributed at key events around the world, including Gamescom in August and November’s London Games Conference.

The book is bundled with selected copies of MCV (July 25th edition) and Develop (August edition), all supported with a year-round online presence on MCVuk.com and Develop-Online.net, plus regular promotion in the weekly and monthly magazines.

Game Source profiles creative and promotional agencies, digital distributors, accessory and hardware firms, logistics and payment firms and much more. The guide showcases the leading players across each sector, offering a snapshot of the resources on offer, plus client history and contact details.

New categories for 2014 include media outlets and agencies, event companies, plus courses and education.

Also included this year is exclusive UK market data and analysis, while last year’s popular freelance directory is also back. Game Source will also include a full list of all 500+ UK games development studios, originally published in Develop 100 but now updated for 2014.

Partner package prices have also been updated for this year, with new options for smaller budgets, and a wider range of ways for UK games businesses to show off what they do.

Contact Conor Tallon now to get involved – Conor.Tallon@intentmedia.co.uk or 01992 535 647. The deadline for inclusion is the end of June.
