Female version of Zelda’s Link officially revealed

Upcoming Zelda spin-off Hyrule Warriors Legends will officially introduce a female version of lead hero Link to the franchise.

Legends is the expanded release of Zelda-cross-Dynasty Warriors 3DS title Hyrule Warriors, and is set for release on March 25th next year.

Linkle is among five new characters set for the game, joining The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker’s Toon Link, King of Hyrule and Tetra – the latter character being a pirate version of the titular princess Zelda.

The final new addition is the Skull Kid from N64 game Majora’s Mask, which was remastered for 3DS earlier this year.

Taking inspiration from her green-capped counterpart, Linkle will dual-wield crossbows and features the same blonde hairdo and emerald dress-sense.
