Final Fantasy: Record Keeper heading to North America this spring

Free-to-play mobile release Final Fantasy: Record Keeper is heading to North America this spring, Square Enix and DeNA have announced.

The game has players customizing pixelated versions of Final Fantasy characters such as Cloud and Lightning with "iconic gear, powerful spells, summons and hundreds of weapons to choose from.”

Those interested in pre-registering for the North American Android and iOS release can head over to the game’s official website, and doing so will unlock FFX’s Tidus as a playable character when the game arrives.

Final Fantasy: Record Keeper originally launched in Japan last September, surpassing 5m total downloads this month. No word on a release in Europe or any other regions outside of Japan and North America as of yet.
