First GDC 2013 sessions revealed

The first sessions for GDC 2013 in the business, marketing and management and programming tracks have been announced.

Sessions at the event currently include an AI in computer games roundtable with Alcatel-Lucent’s Neil Kirby, Crossing the streams: Game audio rule breakers of the past decade, by Microsoft senior development lead Scott Selfon and Math for Games Programmers with Insomniac Games’ Jim Van Verth, Imagination Technologies’ Manny Ko and Microsoft senior software development engineer Robin Green.

Other speakers include Frictional Games owner Thomas Grip, Double Fine Productions lead technical artist Drew Skillman, Zynga design director Soren Johnson, Volition’s Jeff Hanna and Ubisoft Montreal’s Jean-Francois St-Amour.

GDC 2013 is will take place from March 25th to 29th in San Francisco at the Moscone Center.

Early bird rates for the event are still available till February 13th, with the chance to save up to $500 on an all Access Pass.

Develop will be there to cover the event in force, having last year reported on more than 70 stories emanating from the conference on the latest technology news for developers.
