Parisian pan-disciplinary digital entertainment conference a resounding success, say organisers

First UbiQ an ‘intense’ success

The team behind Parisian pan-disciplinary digital entertainment conference UbiQ have declared their event a huge success, and confirmed that next year the industry gathering will return.

Debuting last week, UbiQ brought together some 700 attendees from gaming, internet, mobile, IPTV, connected TV, tablets and social media, and offered a unique format where presentations capped at 15 minutes in length addressed how to capture, engage, monetize and measure ROI.

"This was an intense event with participation that reached above our expectations,” said Gwenael Flatres, CEO of UbiQ Events.

"Speakers and participants alike have been so enthusiastic and generous with their feedback that we are already gearing up for a second edition next year. UbiQ’s strength lies in its ability to bring together digital players from TV, music, games, apps and branded content to share experience."

“It was hands down the most productive event of the year – for me – so far," added BitTorrent CEO Eric Klinker.

"I measure conferences by the number of fruitful contacts made, good conversations had and compelling ideas presented. [UbiQ] brought together the right set of people to deliver on all three.”"

While details of the second UbiQ are yet to be confirmed, more about the vent can be found on it’s official website.
