For Honor hacks and slashes its way to No.1

Ubisoft’s For Honor has debuted at No.1 in the UK All Formats Top 40. It’s the publisher’s first chart topper since The Division early last year. The game also boats the best new entry for a new IP since Sony’s No Man’s Sky. 57 per cent of sales went to PS4 and 43 per cent to Xbox.

Sold Out and Rebellion’s Sniper Elite 4 debuts at No.2, leaving last week’s chart topper Grand Theft Auto V in third, despite a seven per cent sales increase. It’s the first time we’ve had a new one-two at the top of the Top 40 since FIFA 17 and Forza Horizon 3 last year.

FIFA 17 and Battlefield 1 see big sales increases of 45 and 48 per cent respectively, claiming fourth and fifth. Other movers include Forza Horizon 3 at No.9 (+138%) and LEGO Dimensions at No.15 (+187%).

Nioh drops out of the Top 10 from second to twelfth.
