Former SCEA president and CEO Jack Tretton has joined the advisory board of AI start-up Genotaur.
Based in the US, the firm aims to use advanced computation and cognitive computing techniques to create new forms of intelligent interactive interfaces.
The company is targeting its tech towards gaming, digital entertainment, robotics and education businesses.
"This is a very exciting time for us at Genotaur as we develop new products and scale our business, focusing initially on implementation within the computer entrainment business,” said Genotaur CEO Tony Simpson.
“Jack’s experience in every area of building and operating consumer products and interactive entertainment companies will help us grow our capabilities at Genotaur. We are fortunate to have an executive of Jack’s knowledge and experience base on our team."
Tretton left Sony at the end of March earlier this year after 19 years with the company, citing the decision as a “mutual agreement not to renew their contractual relationship”.
