Bruce Ferriz leaves the Call of Duty studio, but wonâ??t be Respawning

Fourth dev walkout at Infinity Ward

Infinity Ward has for the fourth time in a month been the subject of news items regarding staff departures.

Senior Animator Bruce Ferriz has confirmed to IGN that he left the Call of Duty studio this month, and has now joined Santa Monica-based developer Big Red Button Entertainment.

The announcement follows revelations made earlier today that experienced programmer Jon Shiring and lead designer Mackey McCandlish have separately quit the studio.

The current tally of Developers leaving Infinity ward has now climbed to five – not including the two co-founders who were sacked last month and plunged in a destructive legal row with Activision.

Those two co-founders, Vince Zampella and Jason West, have now established their own independent outfit and have secured a major deal with EA.
