Future’s Total Film, SFX Online and GamesRadar to combine into one site

Publishing outlet Future has announced its plans to combine TotalFilm.com, SFX.co.uk and GamesRadar.com into a single website.

The unified networks will re-launch as a single entity in November, with a new-look website delivering film, TV and game exclusives, reviews and offers.

Under the new structure, a new channel on GamesRadar.com will host all of Future’s film and sci-fi content.

David Bradley, group editor-in-chief for film at Future, commented: "This move brings our outstanding film, TV and book content to a whole new audience.

It’s a great example of all our magazines and online brands working together to create one super entertainment site, reaching more people than ever.

I’m excited about how this great new platform will deliver a better online experience for our readers. And the sci-fi, film and gaming crowds will soon benefit from a fantastic range of stories, news, reviews and features in one handy place."

Declan Gough, head of content and marketing for film, games and music for Future, added: "This move demonstrates Future’s online strategy at its most joined-up.

We have the finest film, TV and sci-fi content in the world thanks to Total Film and SFX, and this year we’ll be combining that with the games know-how of our leading games website.

All of our film content will be moving to the new channel where the teams’ great work will continue seamlessly. GamesRadar.com’s advanced platform is a fantastic experience on mobile devices and is great for sharing content, making it the perfect place to unify all our audiences. And our readers and advertisers will soon see the benefits of being part of a huge combined audience."

Future confirmed that there will be no changes to the print or digital editions of Total Film or SFX as part of the unification.
