GAME gets behind Children’s Hospice charity

Children’s Hospices UK has signed a new fundraising partnership with GAME Group.

The agreement will see GAME and Gamestation stores raising money over the next two years for the UK’s network of 41 children’s hospices. All funds raised will go towards teenage activity weekends at hospices across the country.

The partnership follows last week’s Children’s Hospice Week, where schools, local supporters and celebrities teamed up to organise events during the week.

We are incredibly proud to be supporting Children’s Hospices UK and are confident that with the support of our teams and customers we can do our best to help raise funds to enhance the lives of young people who rely on the vital services children’s hospices provide," commented GAME Group CEO Lisa Morgan.

"Children’s hospices are such inspirational places and we are delighted to be helping such a worthwhile cause."

Children’s Hospices UK chief executive Barbara Gelb added: This is fantastic news for Children’s Hospices UK and indeed children’s hospice services throughout the UK. We are really looking forward to working with all at the GAME Group over the next two years and together making a real difference to the lives of young people who use children’s hospices.”
