Overwatch is having a free weekend at the end of September, unless you’re in South Korea

Overwatch is having another free weekend, playable for free for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from September 22 – 25.

The full game will be playable, barring Competitive Play. This includes all heroes and maps, including the brand new Escort map, Junkertown.

"Players will also have the ability to level up, earn loot boxes, and unlock a variety of different customization options," Blizzard revealed in a blog post, with players that pay to unlock the whole game keeping hold of their earlier unlocks, providing you use the same Blizzard, Sony or Xbox Live account that you played the free weekend on.

Although it seems very few gamers haven’t heard of Overwatch at this stage, Overwatch is a very different game to the one that released and was showcased in its first weekend, and as with every free weekend it’s bound to bring more players into the game. The weekend will kick off at 11am PT on September 22 and runs until 11:59pm PT on September 25.

The free weekend is open to players in America, Europe and most of Asia, with South Korea unfortunately not included.
