GDC Mobile will return once more for 2009, event organisers Think Services have announced.
As well as covering all the usual topics around programming, making deals and distribution, this year will take a look at the new emerging platforms: iPhone, Android, Symbian and Windows Mobile.
EA Mobile Europe’s Tim Harrison is amongst the speakers already announced, who will hold a talk titled ‘Walls Come Tumbling Down? The New Distribution Reality’; while G3 Studios’ Guido Henkel will speak on ‘The iPhone Bag of Tricks’.
The Independent Games Festival Mobile will also return for a second year, acting as a sister event to the main IGF awards. Prize money totalling $30,000 will be given out to the winners, including a new iPhone game prize sponsored by ngcomo:).
GDC Mobile takes place on the Monday and Tuesday of GDC09, March 23rd and 24th. For more information, visit the official GDC09 site.
