Trinigy partners with studios Punchers Impact and Firefly

GDC: Vision Engine in punchy multi-game deal

Game engine vendor Trinigy has sealed a deal with publisher Mindscape and its subsidiary studio Punchers Impact.

The multi-platform deal sees Punchers Impact get licensing rights to Trinigy’s Vision Engine for the studio’s upcoming (and unannounced) action title.

Trinigy also announced today that Firefly Studios has re-signed to use the group’s popular game engine.

“We decided on the Vision Engine because of its high performance cross-platform graphics abilities and its flexible engine architecture,” said Guillaume Descamps, studio director at Punchers Impact.

Descamps praised the Vision Engine for its scalability, as well as Trinigy’s own standards of customer service.

“The Vision Engine gives us all the power and flexibility we need to quickly realise our ideas in-game,” he said.

“If we have questions, we know we’ll get answers quickly, whether we find those on Trinigy’s extensive Developer’s Site or by speaking with one of Trinigy’s competent technical personnel.”

Trinigy is out in force at GDC this week, with the group demonstrating its latest engine – Vision 8.
