Tandem Events, the organisers of the Develop: Brighton conference, has announced Gearbox Software president, co-founder and CEO Randy Pitchford will be this year’s keynote speaker.
His session will take place on Wednesday, July 15th and will cover Pitchford’s experience with tryling to balance happiness, creativity and profitability at a studio such as Gearbox.
He will also discuss what the studio learned from developing titles such as Borderlands, Brothers In Arms, the remastered Homeworld and the upcoming Battleborn.
“I am honored to have been invited to give the opening keynote for Develop:Brighton,” said Pitchford. “I look forward to the event and not only hope to have a lively and thought provoking discussion but to take advantage of all of the other great programming at Develop:Brighton.”
Pitchford’s keynote will also include a live interview on stage and a Q&A session with attendees.
