Martin Hollis and Zoonami release WiiWare game

GoldenEye development lead creates Bonsai Barber

Martin Hollis, who lead the development team on the acclaimed N64 shooter GoldenEye, has created a hairdressing WiiWare game with his development team Zoonami.

A casual game that utilises the Wiimote and Nunchuck as clippers and shears, Bonsai Barber challenges players to trim the foliage-based outcrops on the heads of various characters.

Rooted to the Wii’s internal Clock, the gameplay limits the player to five ‘haircuts’ a day, and is billed a s a ‘first-person groomer’.

Zoonami was formed in 2000 by Hollis, and is based in Cambridge. Since the studio’s conception, it has created various games including Zendoku for the PSP and DS, and Go! Puzzle for the PlayStation 3.

Bonsai Barber is available now for 1000 Wii Points.
