Green Man Gaming now sells digital Wii U and 3DS games

Green Man Gaming and Nintendo have teamed up to offer digital Wii U and 3DS titles through the retailer’s online store for the first time.

Nintendo is the first console platform holder that GMG has partnered with, although the UK digital retailer has told MCV that it plans to expand to more platforms and territories in the near future.

Nintendo titles already available through the storefront include recent releases Super Mario Maker and Yoshi’s Woolly World, as well as older titles such as Mario Kart 7 and Pokmon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby, plus retro games for Nintendo’s Virtual Console like The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, Super Mario World and F-Zero.

GMG added that a wider range of Wii U and 3DS games would be added to its catalogue soon.

We are immensely proud to have partnered with Nintendo UK to bring their products to the digital market,” said Green Man Gaming CEO Paul Sulyok.

Nintendo is one of the most respected, longstanding companies in the business with a strong history of quality games.

Working with Nintendo UK to offer titles including Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario Maker for the Wii U, or Pokmon Alpha Sapphire and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D on the Nintendo 3DS is an exciting privilege, and really great news for both our community and Nintendo fans.”

GMG also hooked up with the voice of Mario, Charles Martinet, to announce the collaboration. You can watch the video below.
