Guildford Games Festival 2019

The Guildford Games Festival will debut on June 27th.

The weekend long festival – which is supported by Guildford Borough Council, the UK games trade body Ukie, The University of Surrey, and Enterprise M3 LEP – is designed for the public, media, and businesses “to learn about the dynamic nature and importance of games companies located in Guildford, UK.” It will include a charity fundraiser, an industry and business day, a consumer expo, and the inaugural Guildford Games Awards.

The festival aims to shine a light on Guildford’s creative talent, and its contribution to the $81bn global games industry.

The event will kick off with the Supermassive Charity Games Night on the 27th, with June 28th being the industry day, hosted at G Live, before a public showcase on the 29th. The Guildford Games Awards will take place at the Boiler Rooms on June 29th. For more info about the ceremony, head over here. You can also enter the awards on this page.
