Halo World Championship returns in 2017

The Halo World Championship is returning in early 2017, with qualifying events taking place all over the world. 

Dates for the World Championship itself have yet to be revealed, although it is expected to be sometime in April. However a number of LAN events beforehand have been revealed. 

First up is the NA Halo World Championship 2017 Qualifier: St. Louis on January 20-22. This event will be the first qualifying event, with the top three teams from the tournament booking a spot in the World Championship. Anyone can enter the competition with the top eight open bracket teams moving on to fight the HCS teams for the final placings. 

Next up is the EU Halo World Championship 2017 Qualifier: London, which is being organised by Gfinity. The event will take place at the Gfinity Arena between February 17th to 19th. The top two teams book at spot at Worlds. 

The LATIN AMERICA Halo World Championship 2017 Qualifier: Mexico City is also being organised by Gfinity, and will run on February 24th through 26th. Only one team will make it to worlds. 

Finally the NA Halo World Championship 2017 Qualifier: Las Vegas will run between March 3rd and 5th, and will follow the same format as the St Louis event.
