Here’s what’s in store at Mumbai Film and Comic Con on 21st and 22nd December

The Mumbai Film and Comic Con returns on the 21st and 22nd of December and looks set to outdo last year’s event.

The convention changes venues this year from the World Trade Centre in Cuffe Parade to the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon East.

Cosplay is one of the big draws at this year’s MFCC. Cosplayers like Niha Novacaine and the Mumbai Anime Club will be attendance, and the event will host Mumbai’s largest cosplay contest, with the top cosplayer winning a trip to STGCC in Singapore. Retailer Games The Shop is also sponsoring a gaming cosplay contest.

MFCC will feature around 100 exhibitors, including Amar Chitra Katha (showing off their new mobile app), Harper Collins, DC & Vertigo Comics, DC Collectibles and Marvel Comics. You’ll find the full list along with stall numbers here.

The Convention will witness the launch of several new comics from Indian publishers like Orange Radius, Meta Desi Comics, Manta Ray Comics, Vimanika Comics, Holy Cow Entertainment, and more.

There’s a lot more happening at MFCC this weekend. Check out the schedule for other activities across the two days.
