HMV emerged triumphant at last night’s MCV/Xbox 360 Quiz, fending off stiff competition from Microsoft, GameSpot, Imagine Publishing and Tesco.
A mixture of retailers, media, peripheral firms and publishers gathered at London’s Sway Bar to battle to be the biggest brains in games, and win some pretty spectacular prizes, including a new Xbox 360 S and a copy of Halo: Reach.
The round sponsors were 505 Games, EA Sports, Turner Media Innovation, Entatech/ Mad Catz Hubb Accessories, AGI, Super Scribblenauts and Ubisoft, with each of them offering some cool spot prizes, including champagne and wine gift sets, copies of FIFA 11, Grease, Hawx 2, RUSE and Super Scribblenauts, a Cyborg Gaming Mouse and a pack of Wii accessories.
