HTC Vive’s UK price increased to £816 including P&P

Good news if you’re of the mind set that HTC Vive isn’t currently expensive enough.

The Vive VR system released earlier this year in the UK for a really actually pretty hefty 689. You could add 57.60 for P&P, too, bringing the total to a skin melting 746.60.

HTC has today confirmed that the price of Vive has been upped in the UK to 759. On the plus side, though, delivery appears to have dropped by almost a pound to 56.69, meaning your new total for buying the headset is… wait for it… 815.60.

If you voted Brexit now’s the moment (well, another moment) to hang your presumably VR headset-less head in shame.

HTC continuously monitors and adjusts pricing to ensure we are providing our customers with the best value possible,” the company has said.

Due to recent currency valuation changes and the current value of the GBP we are adjusting the price of the HTC Vive in the UK. We are committed to providing the best possible VR experience with Vive and would like to thank our UK customers and partners for their continued support.”

Damn.
