Up to 35% discount offer for landmark trade event

Hurry: GDC early-bird deadline hours away

Just a few hours remain for developers to take advantage of huge early-bird bonuses for this year’s GDC event.

Those who register to the key international event before 4:50am GMT/11:50pm ET could save as much as 35 per cent on attendance fees, also picking up a free Android smartphone in the process.

Set to take place March 9-13th in San Francisco, the event features a host of keynotes, panel discussions and lectures from some of the biggest names in the business.

Civilization creator Sid Meier, Lionhead’s Peter Molyneux, Double Fine’s Tim Schafer, Metroid co-creator Yoshio Sakamoto and Final Fantasy XIII director Motomu Toriyama are just some of the industry luminaries speaking at the event. The GDC Expo Floor, meanwhile, will be buzzing with numerous engine and tool companies.

GDC also hosts key summits which will extensively cover the business and craft of iPhone, indie and social games, as well as invaluable design tutorials in the areas of programming, art, production, business, audio, and design.

Tutorials will be given by the designers of high-profile games such as APB, Uncharted 2, Braid, God Of War III, Assassin’s Creed II, Splinter Cell: Conviction, and Dante’s Inferno.

The conference will also host the 12th Annual Independent Games Festival, and its pivotal awards show, along with the 10th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards.

Those not wanting to miss out on the early-bird discount should visit the GDC website.
