Hype builds for No More Heroes

Suda 51-developed Wii title No More Heroes is a key release for ambitious Rising Star Games as it enters its biggest ever year.

The publisher is set to continue its fruitful partnership with Hudson by releasing five titles from the company in March across PSP, DS and Wii.

In total, it plans 22 releases this calendar year – up from 14 in 2007. The firm also expects to take on more staff – particularly in its marketing department – and relocate to bigger premises.

It’s great to be involved with a product like No More Heroes,” said Rising Star Games MD Martin Defries. We have a marketing campaign on TV through February and March, so we’re kicking off in 2008 with a really big product. We are expecting No More Heroes to be a major hit and the biggest seller on the Wii for the first few months of the year. We’ve had great press already.”
