IGDA Scotland names new chairman

Andrew MacDonald has been appointed the new chairman of IGDA Scotland following Luke Dicken’s decision to step down.

MacDonald had previously served as organisation secretary and was recently a programming intern at Tag Games. He is currently studying at Abertay University.

“I’d like to thank Luke for all his hard work and dedication to the chapter and our community over the years,” he told Scottish Games.

“I look forward to continuing to work with our committed team of volunteers and the Scottish developer community to advance and evolve IGDA Scotland in new and exciting ways over the coming months.”

Dicken announce his decision to step down last week due to his work with the IGDA Foundation and the opportunity to work at Zynga in San Francisco as senior data scientist.
