Telltale announces new Batman, The Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us titles

Telltale Games has announced three new games coming out in the next year. A new five-part Batman game will release this August, while the final season of The Walking Dead and a new instalment in its The Wolf Among Us series will launch next year.

The first episode of Batman: The Enemy Unknown, entitled ‘The Enigma’, will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac from August 4th, with iOS and Android versions coming later in the year.

The whole series will also receive a physical console release in October on Telltale’s usual ‘season pass’-style disc package. This will include the first episode of the game, with download access to all subsequent episodes as and when they’re released.

As the first episode’s title implies, one of the key villains this season will be The Riddler. However, Telltale said players can also expect the return of The Joker. What’s more, players will also have the option to carry over their choices from the first season.

The Walking Dead will also be receiving its fourth and final season next year, and will once again feature Clementine as the main character. Platforms confirmed so far include "consoles, PC, Mac, iOS and Android devices," according to Telltale, but suggests there may be "additional platforms" coming at a later date.

Finally, The Wolf Among Us will also receive a second season in 2018. It doesn’t have an official title just yet, according to Telltale, but it’s currently slated for release in the second half of next year "across all major gaming consoles and mobile gaming devices." It will begin a fresh story arc for its returning cast of characters, and will once again feature Bigby Wolf and Snow White.
