Eight slots available to showcase games to 75,000 visitors

Indies can exhibit for free at Gadget Show Live 2016

UK indie developers are being offered the chance to exhibit at the next Gadget Show Live for free.

The consumer show’s organisers have added an Indie & Mobile Gaming Pod to the event’s new Arcade area, which will offer attendees a look at some of the more unique games currently in development.

The Gadget Show Live 2016 will take place at The NEC, Birmingham from March 31st to April 3rd.

There are eight free stands available, with The Gadget Show handling the stands’ build and project management, storage, electrics and more. They can even arrange a TV and console if needed.

Successfully chosen indies will be able to showcase their games to an expected 75,000 visitors, plus receive exposure through the event’s website.

“It may seem to good to be true, but it really isn’t,” said event director Sally Bent. “There are no catches; no hidden costs. The Gadget Show Live has a history of supporting innovation and home grown talent – our British Inventors’ Project is in its third year and has helped to propel numerous inventors into the mainstream – and we wanted to extend that support to the games industry.

“We’ll provide each studio with everything they need to demo their title and benefit from invaluable exposure to almost 75,000 gamers over four days.”
