JAPAN: DSi LL arrives

This weekend saw the arrival of Nintendo’s newest hardware in Japan, the DSi LL – which will be known as the DSi XL.

If the latest pictures on Famitsu’s website are anything to go by, it seems as if the public appetite for the console is impressive.

The DSi LL boasts an extra large 4.2-inch screen, which is 93 per cent bigger than the DS Lite’s screen size. The DSi LL comes with two touch pens, including a new extra large design, as well as three pre-installed DSiWare titles – DS Easy Dictionary, and two Brain Training titles.

The machine is available in Dark Brown, Wine Red and Natural White. It costs YEN 20,000 ($220).
